Hösten innebär fortsättning och nyheter

Hösten har verkligen rivstartat. Snart är det val, tätt följt av hovrättsförhandlingar i målet mot The Pirate Bay. Samtidigt sker en hel del nätpolitiskt såväl på EU-plan som närmare oss här i Sverige. Samtidigt fortlöper Cybernormers arbete när det gäller att fördjupa sig kring olika fenomen inom ramen för fältet “unga nätkulturer”. Fildelning och bild-publicering är något vi här med jämna mellanrum återkommer till, och det kommer vi förstås fortsätta med.

Rent praktiskt har jag (Marcin) fortsatt min bana in mot vetenskapens inre. Från och med i onsdags (faktiskt!) är jag inte bara knuten till Cybernormer på projektbasis, utan nu istället som doktorand vid Rättssociologiska enheten vid Lunds universitet som ju projektet bor hos. Mitt huvudspår kommer där vara nätfilter i såväl bred som smal kontext, vid sidan om mitt tidigare intresse för allmän nätpolitik och nätbaserad interaktion.

Missa förresten för all del inte den bok som Stefan, trots idogt avhandlingsarbete, har skrivit om här. Med en närstående piraträttegång är det säkert dags för många att uppdatera det nätpolitiska tänket.
