Hot och förstörelse i TPB-domens kölvatten

Domen mot The Pirate Bay har vi skrivit mycket om här på Cybernormer. Håkan Hydén, Måns Svensson och Stefan Larsson har alla gett sina perspektiv. I domens kölvatten kan man nu se såväl hot mot personer som varit delaktiga i den fällande domen som förstörelse av objekt på internet.

Henrik Pontén, jurist vid Antipiratbyrån, har fått motta mail och telefonsamtal med hot. Även Monique Wadsted som i rättegången mot The Pirate Bay företrädde flera amerikanska filmbolag har blivit hotad.

- Det ringer mycket folk och skriker och hotar i telefonen. Men när jag ber dem komma upp till kontoret och diskutera saken är det ingen som är intresserad av det, säger Henrik Pontén.

Även flera hemsidor har under de senaste veckorna hackats. Såväl skivbolagens företrädare Ifpi som nyss nämnda Wadstedt har fått sina bolagshemsidor överbelastade i attacker som koordinerats via nätsidor, bloggar och chatkanaler.

De här tendenserna sågs redan under själva rättegången, då en del hackattacker genomfördes. Då kommenterade den åtalade (och numera dömde) Peter Sunde från The Pirate Bay det hela på sin blogg. Han vädjade om att förstörelsen skulle upphöra, eftersom den verkade kontraproduktivt för alla inblandade.

If anyone involved in the acts going on is reading this – please stop, for our sake. We don’t need that kind of support.

The internets is having a fever and this might be a way to get cooled down. But I hope it’s over now and that we can go back to winning our case without taking these measures. The hacking can only reflect on us badly and if you want to help us, please stop with the attacks.
